On 1st March 2026, Japotech achieved nine years in operation. Reflecting on our journey, we are filled with immense pride. Nine years ago, Japotech Solutions began with a simple mission: to contribute towards building reliable, high quality and cost-effective telecommunications infrastructure for Uganda. Today, that mission has evolved into becoming the fastest growing telecommunication integration company in East Africa.
In the past year, we were able to successfully deliver several projects for our esteemed customers including a World Bank funded mobile broadband study for deployment of 130 towers in refugee settlements and underserved areas, LTE network design for 986 sites, definitive feasibility study for communications in a mining site as well as deployment of Fiber To The Home (FTTH) and Fiber To The Business (FTTB) for several homes and offices in metropolitan Kampala area and conducting continuous measurement equipment installation for propagation model tuning; amongst others. The company also integrated its ISO9001 and ISO45001 certifications and renewed its license with Ugandan Communications Commission. The achievements would not have been possible without the hard work and commitment of our staff, trust from our customers and support from our partners
